Kickin’ Mule Mustard & Veggie Burgers

I’d be willing to bet that everyone reading this, has at least one bottle/jar of mustard in their ice box.  Now how many of you make your own Mustard?  I didn’t think so, but once you taste this simple recipe, you will make and use it forever, just another little side wager of mine…..


Kickin’ Mule Mustard

I)  1 cup whole wheat flour
1 Tablespoon sugar
1 Tablespoon sea salt
3/4  cup dry mustard

II)  1 1/4 cup vinegar
1 small onion, diced very small

III)  1 Tablespoon Marijuana Oil
2 grams fine ground marijuana shake

A.  Mix step I.
B.  Add step II to step I and mix well.
C.  Mix step III, let it sit 10 minutes before adding to mustard mix, and mixing well.
D.  Place in small glass jar.  Set in dark place for at least 5 days, before opening.  Refredgerate after opening.

That next cookout try something different, like these Marijuana Veggie Burgers with some Kickin’ Mule Mustard for that extra kick!

Phat Marijuana Veggie Burgers

I)   1 can garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
II)   1 1/2 cups soft bread crumbs
1 farm fresh egg
1 shredded carrot
1 small onion, diced small
1 stalk celery, diced small
1/2 cup fresh mushrooms, small diced
1/4 cup diced black olives
1/4 cup diced red bell pepper
III)    1 Tablespoon Marijuana Olive Oil
2 grams marijuana shake
1 Tablespoon fresh chopped parsley
IV)   2 Tablespoons Marijuana Oil

A.   In mixing bowl crush and smash the rinsed beans.
B.   Mix 1/2 of the bread crumbs and the rest of step II with step I.
C.   Mix step III, and let it sit 10 minutes before adding to step I & II, and mixing well.
D.   Make burger patties out of mixture, shape and firm them.
E.   Using the remaining bread crumbs, add 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt and ground black pepper, and mix    well.  Then coat burgers with mixture, pressing the bread crumb mix into the burgers.
F.  Heat step IV, in frying pan, and brown patties on both sides, about two minutes each side.
G.  Chill burgers until  time to place on grill, and continue grillin’ another 2-3 minutes on each side.

Slap some Kickin’ Mule Mustard, a slice of fresh onion, some fresh lettuce, a slice or two of a homegrown tomato and one of these burgers on a toasted bun…  you’ll drift away in your own backyard!

Remember to keep it phat, and don’t forget to medicate!
