In 2008, Michigan citizens voted in the Medical Marijuana Act. Since then a handful of lawyers have been at the forefront of the medical marijuana wars battling on behalf of patients, caregivers, growers and businesses. Neil Rockind and Neil Rockind, P.C. are on the front lines. Neil Rockind has testified before the House Judiciary Committee regarding medical marijuana, represented the Marijuana Policy Project, Clinical Relief Dispensary, Relief Choices Dispensary, the Commerce Grow Collective and scores of patients and caregivers in their fight against the state. He has sued cities and townships when they pass laws encroaching on patient’s rights. He is on the board of Safe Access Michigan, the Marijuana Patients Organization and is a member of Cannabis Patients United.
